Winter is my favorite of all four seasons we experience here in Pakistan. So talking about winter wish list, as everyone makes one, I ‘m just going to tell you what I would like to buy for this winter. I am not expecting to buy all of this but obviously If I have to pick for something, these would be options. As I have a wide range of options in my mind, I’m sharing some.

On trend Loafers

I have never purchased a pair of loafers before. I’ve been looking for one. They are amazing. They are super functional. You just slip them on and your feet look dressed. They look classy and sleek. The detailing is just a little bit of statement and not too much in your face. It gives a little bit of vintage look to it.

You can wear them with so many different outfits. I might wear them pretty much all year around. They are very comfortable and that's the best part. It's beautifully smooth. It looks a lot more high-end. If you also want a classic shoe staple in your wardrobe hopefully this will help you.

Leather essentials

For me leather is like an investment you won’t regret. It doesn’t go out of style. Whenever you are wearing a very plain or boring outfit and feel like something is missing, just throw on a nice jacket. It makes huge difference. It improves the overall look. It is perfect to add an extra dose of energy to your outfit. A beautiful leather jacket is sure to make a serious style statement.

The one I would like to buy is leather moto jacket. I love it. I tried this on in the store. I can’t tell you how incredibly flattering this particular jacket looks on you. Its a little bit pricey but again, worth it. The quality is exceptional. I probably wouldn’t have as push to buy it, but it pleased me so much. It comes up with so many choices. It's better you grab one too.

Winter Shrugs

Whether It's protecting from cold or adding a dash of swank to your outfit, shrugs have become wardrobe staples. I would love wearing it if I want a little bit extra warmth.

These are available in so many choices like trendy draped shrugs, belted shrugs, long shrugs, striped shrugs, sleeveless shrugs, ribbed knit shrugs, and much more. It’s an easy piece to wear but its essential and I wouldn’t mind having one in my wardrobe. As I already have cape shawls and hoodies.

Bomber Jackets

Bomber jackets continue to rule the heart. These grandiose jackets have already suffused the wardrobe of many. Every fashion savant is warbling for bomber jackets.

Bomber jackets will never disappoint you. You can stay warm and fashionable in this bang-on winter wear. You can Incorporate them with a combination of jeans and tee or anything you like. I am going to explore these wonderful jackets to gush major tempting vibes.

Tangle Teezer Brush

My hair is wavy, really thick and long, so no surprise how tangled it gets. I scuffle with my hair more often than my siblings. This brush seems to be a life saver if you have long, knotty hair.

Tangle teezer brush doesn't tug on your hair unlike other hair brushes.The bristles are a soft plastic that is flexible. I heard that It does not tend to rip out the dead hairs. The elite tangle teezer seems to be the cheapest option to me. It is an ergonomic design that is comfortable to use even with small hands. I am thinking of buying one.

As I belong to Pakistan, I would like to mention that our culture is so diverse and beautiful. Pakistani people have clothing culture enriched with the numerous influences of thousands of years old heritage. We enjoy all the four seasons and it reflects on our way of living and distinctive style.
In Pakistan, women have a variety of traditional dresses in addition to “Shalwar Kameez”. Pakistani attire has become the definitive source of inspiration for fashion designers around the globe. There are many brands which proved themselves trend setters.

For today’s blog I am going to share with you guys my most preferred clothing brands for casual wear.

There are two things we notice while buying any types of clothes. One is “if the fabric is good” and the second most concerned aspect is “If its cost-effective and budget friendly”.

Bonanza

The first clothing brand I want to talk about is Bonanza. I never shopped at Bonanza before. But then I came to know that they make a lot of bright color dresses and I like wearing bright color dresses. so I thought I should buy from them more often. The fabric quality is so good and the designs they bring out every time are pretty awesome. I like to buy two-piece, shirt and dupatta, stitched dress more often. I would like to show you guys the two dresses I ordered recently.

Sana Safinaz

Moving to Sana Safinaz, one of the best clothing brands. In contrast to Bonanza, one can find a lot of light color, elegant designs on Sana Safinaz. Eastern Ready-To-Wear and Un-stitched Packaged Suits. Every new collection they launch is astounding. Muzlin Mania is one with unique and trendy designs. This collection encloses striking colors and lively prints. I really loved this collection and looking forward to buying more of their winter collection.

Warda

Warda is family favorite Lawn brand. My mom and sister also love buying from Warda as much as I do. The prints and color scheme are so catchy. I like wearing pret. I bought several articles from Warda. There are so many choices. I can literally spend hours in picking up clothes that I want. The fabric quality is so good, soft and lightweight. I like Chiffon Dupattas because I think I can carry them a lot easier than in lawn stuff.

Warda's winter collection have more for you. Khaddar suits are my mom's favorite. I also bought these two this season.

Al karam

This is one of my favorites, from years and years. They have the fabulous stuff and again cost effective and amazingly high quality. I would definitely recommend. They got jaw dropping unstitched and ready to wear stuff. I recently bought Linen Kurtis.

I am a huge fan of Blue. This is digital printed kurti. You can see the nice details in the design. I wear it with capri, cigarette trousers or cut trousers.

The catalyst collection is wonderful unstitched fabric collection. I tried it. The material is so good and nice. You should really go and check it out.

Khaadi
Khaadi is so in fashion now. Khaadi’s products are instantly recognizable and sought after for their distinct global ethnic inspiration. You are not going to believe me but (Oh my goodness) their kurta collection Is splendid. Choice is yours, if you want to buy kurta with Dupatta, Kurta with Trousers or just Kurta. The price is a little high but its worth it. Khaas collection is getting over.

The tunics and tops collection are also remarkable. The stitching, cuts and tricks way too nice. These too I would be wearing with capri, cigarette trousers or cut trousers. They got bottoms collection too. Pakistan’s fashion industry did really good in Pret wear and no doubt still doing.

This was all about my most worn brands for casual wear. I will soon be sharing with you my Formal and semi-formal wear brands. I hope it’ll help.

I am a big fan of accessorizing. I would like to wear my basic Kurta and trousers, or kurta and jeans look but flip the look completely every time by accessorizing it differently. Basic wardrobe and accessories are the pieces which never go out of fashion, but everyone can use these staple pieces to create a look that matches their own personal style.

So in my opinion you must have;

1. Bag

You should have three colors Black, Tan and any other bright color of your choice, say red, green or blue. You can go ahead for something that matches your style and personality. I go for tote bags, but you may like cross-body bag, backpack, a satchel, Hobo bag, bucket bag or clutches.

2. Blue earrings

Ladies go for artificial jewelry most of the time and occasionally for gold and silver. Then one color that ticks every girl’s attention is “Blue”. Blue is so friendly that it goes with every skin tone. Imagine yourself wearing some white shirt and jeans or any kurta with trousers then blue studs or tassel earrings can complete the look.

In case you don’t want to do blue earrings for everyday then go for some tan or silver stuff.

3. Lip Colors

The current age is all about liquid lipsticks. It has taken up the lipstick game. The colors one should definitely have is Orange tone red or hot red and a nude color which almost matches real lip color. These colors go for every skin tone. Matte tangerine lips are perfect for brightening up your face. One of offbeat lipstick colors which are so trendy now a days. Nude colors are so versatile, perfect for office or university as well as any occasion. Go for yours.

4. Watch

One thing that has always been a part of my basic wardrobe and instant statement is my watch. You can go for a formal one or a more casual one. Stick with some plain, neutral or basic color or get a watch that has both gold and silver in it. Because both of these colors match with any outfit. You can pair it up with some bangles which compliments the style if going for a party.

5. Vintage bracelet

Apart from the watch I like to have some dainty jewelry pieces, in vintage or muted matte, nothing too shiny and bright or loud, that will create just a simple feminine look. It’s a trend super eminent right now and super easy to pull out. You should wear a vintage bracelet in one arm and leave the other one bare. It should be simple and not a big statement piece.

6. Shoes

To me flat shoes are we all need and every day. It should be comfortable, super walkable but also classic and simple. So that you can wear with different articles of clothing and also matches with everything. I am incredibly partial to pointy toes. Something that is a little more edgy and trendy. You can go for simple flats, flat sandals, classy loafers or ballet flats.Choose your style.

Hijab is in fashion as long as you are comfortable with it. Only thing that comes up in my mind with this word is “ladies/lassies covering their heads beautifully for the sake of their own selves”. It is a healthy practice that dignifies a girl’s beauty. And it’s quite surprising that hijab has always been subjected to criticism. You will always get judgments like

“oh, you look like this”

“oh, you did that”

“oh, you shouldn’t be doing this”

Unfortunately for us, we have a very poisoned and troubled community and unfortunately people around us can’t help but judge us religiously on everything we do. Sometimes it can really push you away from religion and I have experienced this myself. It’s really difficult to go through but it gives you utmost strength at the same time. Embrace yourself. Go girl, get your hijab and rock it like no other. Inspire others.

I remember the first time I wore hijab on a wedding, it really was a dramatic experience, good and bad at the same time. Bad in the sense that I faced suspicious looks, eyes chasing me, comments and to some extent I was feeling a little bit nervous. But felt really good by realizing that there is nobody else besides me, If I don’t fit into this place then it could be a good sign that I am Unique. What makes me unique? “Hijab”. I picked my style and that fits me right.

I Wore my Hijab more consistently from that day forward, combining Fashion and Hijab to come up with something that goes along with modern world. I tried different Hijab styles. The point in discussing the negative aspect is having you realized that nothing can stop you. And if anything is bothering you, you should step forward and show your inner strength. Your consent is important in the first place.

I am going to tell you about hijab styles I often do when going to some party or wedding. Easy to do and carry.

Simple hijab style

Before moving to any detailed look, let me tell you about the simpler one. If you are a beginner, it’s quite easy to do. Take your scarf and fold it inward, about one third of the scarf. Place it on your head. Keep one side shorter and the other one longer. Hold both side of your scarf, wrap it around your face, take a safety pin and pin it under your chin. Now, wrap the longer side of your scarf over your head and pin it on the other side. Flip the shorter side behind your opposite shoulder, underneath.

Accessorizing simple Hijab

You can follow the steps mentioned above and the only difference we are going to make is embellishing the side hanging down one side of your face with available jewelry. This will add to your look. It looks classy, decent and fabulous.

Layered hijab

Most of the time, I like to add volume to my hijab by forming several layers. It looks so good. You can wear it with any of your favorite dresses. Go for a headscarf that matches perfectly with your dress. Don’t go for any loud contrast. You can accessorize it too with a fancy headdress.

Hijab for earrings

I always felt so happy thinking “No girl, there is no way that hijab is getting in your way”. You can wear your favorite jewelry articles. You have to decide if you are going for turban style or another one.

1. A great technique to show off your earrings is doing your hijab this way.

Tie up your scarf, slightly behind your earlobes, at the nape of your neck. Take one side of the scarf and flip it behind your opposite shoulder and then flip the same end back to the front of the other shoulder. Grab the shorter side and put it over. Your look is complete.

2. Turban hijab style is one of my favorites. Wrap your scarf along the hairline and pin it at the nape of your neck. Take one end of the scarf. Flip it and wrap it over your head. Secure it with a pin and you are done.
